It's been a great year with my MCS. Last year on this day I picked up April from Prestige MINI in Mahwah, NJ and it's been driving bliss ever since.

Yesterday I washed and waxed her in the 90 degree humid-heat and THEN, thanks to the Detailing 101 section here on NAM applied a coat of newly discovered Turtle Wax ICE. Omygod what an amazing finish! It's like glass once again. I cannot recommend this stuff enough.

 

Dave -- I remember April's homecoming, as it followed Nugget's homecoming by only a couple of weeks. My experience has been much the same, and I even washed and waxed the little guy up here in humid Vermont on the same day!

Unfortunately, since my wife discovered I had taken Nugget to an abandoned airstrip with a club and found his top speed, I haven't been allowed to drive the little gem!

 

I remember waiting patiently along with DaveT. I picked up "tonya" on June 4, 2005 and have thoroughly enjoyed my year and 11000 miles. Been in 2 wrecks, did a few minor upgrades (boot stripes, roof rack, aero bumpers) and waiting for more - may try to sneak the new exhaust tips in tomorrow (he he).

Doing the oil change and getting the ecu flashed - cold start stumble that we all have. Other than that no probs mate.

 

one year... time to change the oil!
