Hi there. Nice , friendly forum you got here!. Just bought a DS/W MCS 3 weeks ago. Got through the 1250 mile break in. This is one fun-to-drive vehicle!

I'm new to MCO as well, having spent most of the last 12 months on roadfly, but now I've decided to hang out here as well.
Congrats on your great car! I have an EB/W 03 MCS, but had a hard time making up my mind between EB and DS, both are great!!!
UR right, this car is SOOOOOOO much fun to drive!!!
I'm at about 3500 miles, and will be going on a 5k drive within about 1 month!!!

Hi everyone!

I've been hanging out here for the last couple weeks as I try to decide if I should buy a Mini...
and you've all convinced me! Next weekend I'm putting my deposit down on a Chili Red Cooper,
and saying goodbye to my Honda Accord Coupe(also a great car, but yeah--it's like driving a boat.)

Austin: What's being in the Lone Star State got to do with it? It's a nice drive. Your MINI will love you for the excerise, and then you can hang out with some Crazy Canucks.

C'mon, there's lots of time to plan a trip to Eastern Ontario, Canada by next Sept. Get with the program!

I'm getting black bonnet stripes, 16" wheels, multifunction steering wheel, on board computer, sport seats.
Already working on a deal to get a Rogue exhaust system and vipercross intake. After these two mods, rear swaybar is next, then a strut brace.

This is going to be fun!

Also new to the family, just placed an order yesterday for my DS/DS, MCS, all packages, 17" S-lites, Lapis, body colored side skirts. Will be selling my 97 Tahoe and driving my 72 TR6 in the mean time. Look forward to spending my day's and night's right here learning about and sharing the mini experience.

is the lapis the blue leather seats?

if so, does that go with the grey color combo? i have never seen one, and am asking for curiousity reasons :smile:

 

Iam not sure if blue really fits with the DS, but it's my favorite color and I have been sitting on gray for too long. Could always change to the black, have lots of time to wait before I see her. Maybe someone else out there has one with the blue??
