To get around the alignment issue, if U have Firestone stores in your area U pay a flat rate, somewhere around $120, and that covers alignments for as long as U own your car. Check them out; $200 is a rip JB

Been using Shell 93 in my 03 MC and have the same cold start "cough". Just put Shell 89 in it to see if that helps with a smoother start.
