Brake Sensor

About two weeks ago I was driving home on the expressway, and the "BRAKE" sensor came on. After about a minute it went off, but then it came on again. It went on and off like this for a few minutes before it finally stayed on.

When I got home I checked the manual and filled it with brake fluid. This fixed the problem, but I was curious has anyone else had to do this after only having the car a short time? I've only had the car for 2 months.

My only thought is that the brake fluid wasn't very full when I bought it, but maybe it could be something else. It isn't a problem now, so I'm not all that concerned, but just wondering if this is a typical problem.

You want to check and make sure you don't have a brake fluid leak anywhere. At two months you should not have a low brake fluid light...although there is always the possibility your fluid was not filled to the right level at delivery.
