Neat thread, now I need to get out those cars from cub scouts (American flag roadster, an aero fast wolf with scout uniform, and a variation on the previous year green monster), aero plays a significant role, but balance is where I noticed the most performance gain. It bring sback the great memories of going to the basement workshop and building the car, which was more than half the fun!

 

Now I need to go dig out my cars from the 70's that Dad & I built. His looked like a '30's Rolls with fenders and roof made of copper, and mine looked a little like a late '30's Mercedes Formula 1 car... His did better, we ended up with a third place out of 30 or so cars. It wasn't a Scouts group, although similar.
