Ordering my MINI!!!!!

If all goes well this weekend at my second test drive I will be placing my order!!!!!!!! I cant wait!!!! Im really just going on a second test drive to convince that last 1% of my brain that isnt convinced yet! I am planning on getting a HB/B MCS with B bonnet stripes (might change for different stripes from cooperflags.com later down the road) , with Premium pkg, Sport pkg, Cold Weather pkg, chrono pkg, Serius radio (cant live with out it! ), roof rack (anyone have it? how noticable are the plugs? I need the rack because I ski all the time!), H/K stereo , matching interior (HB ROCKS!!!), Aero kit, security system, chrome interior, and hmm I think that about covers it! what do you guys think? Everything together is 29k! Not too bad for an almost fully equipped MINI! <----expressing my happiness!!!!! ------>

Congrats... just wonder, have you thought about LSD?
Because I love my LSD so much even I don't track. I enjoy it so much on daily commute with fast corners.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it! you didn't mention what color upholstery you're getting. my guess is you'll be going for black leather or leatherette because of the black top. Take a look in my gallery and check out the grey leatherette option with HB and chrome interior. I really like it. you also didn't mention if you're going with the anthracite headliner. just some more stuff to consider while you're at it

I know I had my build pretty much ironed out before ordering and I still made one change (chrome int). Just make sure you're as close as you can get to having your mind made up before ordering in case you get a quick production slot!

I'm sorry -- did you misplace the 1% of your brain that wasn't convinced yet? Or did you just not tell it you were posting...?

(Congrats!)

Glad to hear it! Congratulations! Not too happy are you

BTW, what happened between you and your parents (and sis?) to affect the decision to buy the MCS? Enquiring minds want to know...

Congrats...............looks like you've won the battle.

Don't forget to factor-in the dealer's installation costs on the Sirius, alarm and Aero kit (could easily amount to $2000+.....seriously).

I hear ya on the labor cost for the dealer extra's. I ordered my 2006 MC (which is on the boat) without all those dealer options as I didnt want to finance them into my payment each month and pay interest on them. Those will come at or soon after the time of delivery for me!

Last Chapter!

Hey guys!!! Ok thank you for all your input and advice! I sat my parents down and went over all the facts again and showed them all the info I have collected in the past few months! We had a decent adult conversation and they are now on board again! Thanks for all your inputs guys! and ladies!

I am so relieved...I hate it when the parental "mini's" don't get along....
You will always love your Mini more now, knowing all is well with the family...Mini will have a happy home....

As a parent of 2, not only would I have said yes, but HELL yes. Don't forget to go to a professional driving school after you get it though (Phil Wicks comes to mind).

Good luck and enjoy!!

PS.....small disclamer on the yes, how many cars have you totalled before!!!

Just wait til your parents drive it!
Wait, don't do that, you'll be fighting them for the keys until you move out.
Congrats, oh and LSD ROCKS!
Annette

P.S. No Anthracite headliner?? Sounds like the finishing touch

Congrats! Second test drive.... Hmmm, I was about 7 minutes into my ONLY test drive when I told my salesguy, "I'm buyin one!" ;-) That's all it took.
10 months and 18,000 miles later. Couldn't have made a better or safer choice.
