Rec'd a new booklet from MINI USA last week, listing accessories for 2003. On page 31, there is a product called "INVISISHIELD", which appears to be some type of clear bra.... Looks like about $260 total to cover bonnet, mirrors, bumpers and fog lights. Anybody seen it? Wonder how it compares to the 3M product DID has talked about?

 

Interesting. That's the first I've hear MINI was offering that. Remember that $260 doesn't include labor. Your dealer is most likely going to subcontract out the installation anyway. You still may be better off price wise to go with a 3M product once you consider installation.

I have no comparison between the invisishield and 3M stonegard, but 3M is pretty much the industry standard from what I can tell.

Incinca-shield has the complete kit on-line for 189.00, then you need itnstalled

i want to paint my wheel arches and side skirts but i am worried about the paint chipping.

DiD can u link me to the 3M thing, and give me some info on it??

thanks, i would love some info on a kind of tape i can do on the bumpers at least and then mayb the side skirts and wheel arches
