I don't have to. I just want to. It's not like Tiffany's jewelry is cheap either. Do you think it's too expensive. It is like our 5 year anniversary.

This is totally off-topic, but what are those dipsticks that people have sticking out of their bumpers? and where can I get one?

well, it's totally up to you. so i have no say. i mean a $500 watch
might be expensive to me, but a $4K set of wheels might not.... so, really,
if you think it's worth it, go for it.

hahaha, you mean tow hooks? check out the interior and exterior mods
section and search 'towhooks.'

here's mine http://www.geocities.com/ken350gt/towhook.front.jpg

I'm not liking the watch. Does not say "Look at me, I cost almost $500".
Kinda looks like my old Timex.

But what do I know? I like to shoot clay targets at the gun club,
and get car parts for presents.

Is that what Msfitoy has on the front of his car? I always thought it was something to check fluids.

Hahahah, I don't think any name brand watch says that unless you look at the name of the watch and Raymond Weil is pretty well known I think.

It looks more and more like I'm going to get her jewelry or......I can get her car parts. C'mon, that's what a bunch of you guys thought this thread was about, me getting my fiance car parts for our anniversary.

Msfitoy has the famous tow-bolt mod: painted red!

I don't care much for that watch...it's a bit bulky. I love the idea of Tiffany jewelry, though. Just understand that if you start buying her Tiffany now, you will be buying it for her forever. You will have to keep to a very high standard. But you know what? I think it's a terrific thing and it will be nice for her to collect good Tiffany jewelry.

Well, that's an opinion of a woman. I was looking at the dimensions and it only said 5/8" wide so it didn't seem that wide, but it sure does appear bulky. I have no problem with buying her Tiffany's jewelry. She knows that our anniversary is more important than any of the other holidays so it would be probably only once a year at max.

The tow-bolt came in your MINI's tool kit and you can paint it red!

Look in the whole kit carefully. Somebody just posted about this last week...I cannot remember which thread...I'll go look. What year is your MINI? You should have gotten a tow-hook in your toolkit. I have a 2003 and my toolkit came with one.

Check this post from last year: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...2&postcount=10

HAhahahah, thanks, this is probably going to be my next mod along with painting the calipers!!! Should I do red, blue or white? Red is traditional, blue matches the car and white matches the roof and mirror caps, might be weird if I get white rims though... What do you guys think?

Yes, thank you too. Now, let's hope Tiffany's has some quick shipping because anniversary is coming up soon.

So my fiance got me piloti shoes and they're really nice to drive with. I didn't actually think it would be that much of a difference but I think it's worth it. Now all I need are driving shoes that I can wear daily.

I'm still crossing my fingers that the necklace I got from Tiffany's gets here by Thursday.

As per your request.

I was originally going to get her the 1st item, but decided it was too dressy and she would rarely get a chance to wear it out so I decided on the 2nd item since it's sort of casual and semi-dressy.

Item #1

Item #2
