Anyone out there driving their silver S in this area on Sunday? I was driving my PS/B MC on Delta HIghway in the late afternoon, looked in the mirror and saw the familiar hood scoop coming up from behind. Thumbs up as you went by- how cool is it to see one of the very few MINIs in our area, w/ the same color scheme to boot? Made my day, that's for sure. PM me if it was you.

 

no, it wasn't me. I'm on the east coast with a liquid yello with white roof. I just find it strange that I never see minis while driving mine. But if I take one of my other vehicles out, I'll see 4-5 coopers.
One day I was at the car wash washing car and I saw old lady vacuming her Cooper s. Looked like the lady from wizard of oz riding bike with toto in basket wearing funny hat. Pissed and moaned for 20 minutes about her rattling sunroof. Said she has been back to dealer no less than 10 times with no avail. I'm really glad I don't have a sunroof after reading about this common complaint
