The Mini was omitted from AutoWeek's TrackDay special in the 2/20/06 issue. They listed 9 track toys of varying cost, Miata and Boxster among them, but omitted the Mini. The Boxster and Miata wouldn't be admitted to many groups due to not having fixed roll hoops, the Mini has a hard top and nary a mention.

 

Nothing in auto mags surprises me nor is my overall opinion of them very high. There are a few exceptions, I'm glad to say, but even then I'm leery.

If they agree with me, though, then they're super!!
