Hi,

I got my MINI on Monday and cannot for the life of me figure out how to post a picture either in my signature, or in a thread. Any of you compu-savvy people out there want to lead me through this?

Thanks,

Needler

Here is the way to post it..

If this works..

You need to pre-tag and post tag the picture url. with the following tag.

Hit the IMAGE button below your post. it inserts the image tag. and ending image tag with the /.

The picture url should have the http:// in front of it..as complete as possible.
The picture should be 100 pixels wide, and in .jpg format if possible.
Bitmap pictures are too large to submit, because of the 56k users that frequent the Forums.

Needler,

Where is your image now?

If it's on your computer and you're not running a web server, then you'll need to post it the picture somewhere. Since it's a MINI right here on MCO's Member's MINI section should be fine. Then surf to your picture and copy the URL (the http:// thinggy in the adress bar of your browser) to notepad or another safe place. Then click the URL button at the bottom of the MCO's posting box and follow the little wizard . Once done, you'll see the code MCO needs to place the picture on MCO. Copy that to notepad or another safe place. Now you can go to "My Account" srection and change your sig line to include thatnew "MCO" code pointing at your picture.

Enjoy!
