When is your car coming? One of mine sat at the port of exit a month and some change before being assigned.....now I can call the kid who is buying my Honda and tell him he can have it soon!

mine won't come till around halloween. I was thinking if it came before Halloween I could fill the boot up with candy and drive it around and throw candy to all the kids. but parents would probably think it was drugs or something, so i won't do that.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Or you could really injure someone if you beaned them with one of those snack-size candy bars.....

"Bobby....I told you not to take candy from the stranger in the little car....."

When did you put the order in?

And actually... I was also wondering....is it difficult to get bonnet stripes on the car after you get it? They are REALLY growing on me....

They're just stickers so it shouldn't be to hard to come by. Some places sell aftermarket stripes. That's one of the reasons I'm waiting till tomorrow to get my car is they are putting the bonnet stripes on and installing the cd changer.

I don't know how easy it is to put them on. I'd imagine it's not hard since they're not painted (they're almost like stickers, but obviously not just stickers). I saw a racing stripe kit for the minis on http://www.mini-madness.com for $100, you apply it yourself with a hair dryer! looked cool though.

Yeah it was pretty strange....I had the first Vin# and then they suddenly emailed me a new one and I thought they were trying to sell the other car out from under me.....it has been something of an ordeal.....this is the first new car I have ever bought and I had no idea it would be this hard!

this is the first car I've ever bought as well. I own a 99 VW Passat, but I bought that used last year. Where did you order yours from? where you located?

I'm in Maryland.....Baltimore to be exact.....I got mine from Mini of Towson. The people that work there are really nice, but there has been some.....ummmmm.....confusion. However, compared to my last car buying experience....my used Honda....the people at least are better to work with. The guy I bought the Honda from was so gross....he kept asking me out....it made for a really unpleasant experience.

I know what you're saying. although, i'm starting to get busy now. i'm in the calendar business so I'm really busy from July to November and then I just sit around and play games. (i'm exaggerating a little, although I do play a lot of free cell!)
