Got my MINI back from the shop after parking lot mishap, beautiful job
by Altman's Body Shop in, Russellville, Arkansas. Paint matched perfectly and excellent attention to detail. They replaced the drivers door and did some straightening and filling on the drivers side rear quarter panel.
It's an MC and while it was there I also had the rocker panels replaced with the S version and added chrome mirror covers.
It's great to have it home again.

Congrats on getting your MINI back!!! Even better that you took the opportunity to make a few tweeks! I have to admit the few mishaps that have happened to my MINI over the years have only served to deepen my devotion to the car...but then I have a vivid imagination. Happy motoring and have fun getting reaquainted!!!
Thanks,
You ever let the fear of something happening to your MINI detract from your enjoyment? I kept mine prestine for 2.5 years by careful parking and often driving my old Madza pickup. Then it's unoccupied, parked waaay away from everyone, and an unoccupied $400 POS car rolls from several rows away down a slight grade and WHAM!, right into my MINI.
Sometimes you want to say, why me?

Seems like whenever something bad happens to me I run into someone who's got it far worse. Happens every time....turns things around pretty effectively.
In the case of my MINI it was 1) hail damage on roof (PDR fix), 2) bad door ding from some idiot, 3) dents in bonnet left by some drunk loser (PDR fix), 4) front end crash when a driver pulled out in front of me. Horrid, but the MINI performed so blasted well I actually was in a good mood afterward!! Got the MINI back slightly improved even.
Still...nothing knocks the wind out of one's sails like having something evil happen to one's beloved MINI.
