R50/53 My dream motorhome...
Would you all believe me if I told you that this was mentioned in thread WAAAAAAAY Back in '02? The idea of MINI owners across the nation pitching in to do a timeshare concept was discussed.
Here's the link to that old, shortlived thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ead.php?t=3815

I saw that same program on Travel Channel but these people were towing Porche Cayennes

Did you ask how much the mini cost right before you bought it

Seems to me that it kind of goes against the MINI philosophy of "Let's sip, not guzzle".
Having said that, it is pretty cool.

I must have missed something. I'm always missing stuff!
lol:
Sorry I didn't track with the winning something either, I guess it was a winning the lottery thing which is cool but I'm looking at one of these for a couple of years down the road to replace my 1998 diesel RV now.
This does look cool but a custom trailer for my MINI doesn't take away all the storage space in the basement and closet space that the garage gives you in return. I can get more bang for the buck with a short squat trailer and a much less costly RV then go this route but it looks cool.

Ahhhh....round it off to 3 months till MOTD
I recall something similar was available thirty years ago. The parking surface was actually the bed flipped upside down, so at night you'd have to put your 1st gen Mini outside to use the bed. The garage door was the standard UPS truck/cargo van door, so I can't imagine it was too quiet barreling down the freeway. The advantage of course, was that it's a lot easier to back up a motorhome that's not towing a trailer.
Of course nowadays everything has to be luxurious and ginormous so motorhomes are the size of a city bus--and even the Mini has grown by two feet and 900 lbs, making it considerably harder to carry.

Luckily I didn't have to trim very much.

I think that is a very trick vehicle, but it is certainly not for me neither in budget nor in lifestyle. I'd rather be in various unique nice hotels than having to deal with such a monster. The biggest nightmare I would have about any motorhome is having to spend nights in Walmart parkinglots. YIIIKKKES.

This is a main line RV for Travel Supreme but a higher cost one. It has its advantages and disadvantages. Don't knock sitting at WalMart parking lots in an RV, been there done that and pulling in after eriving 12+ hours is a relief before moving on the next day. RVing is a lifestyle and is not for everyone but you are home when you pull out of your driveway to go on vacation.

If you remove the rear license plate and the frame and the bracket, then under that, there is a barcode and VIN that is on the hatch.
