R50/53 Your favorite cruzing tune? (for now)
I listen to a wide range of music styles, so I have quite a few and they change almost daily. Here are a few of the first ones to come to mind:
Golden Earring: Twilight Zone - a nice long song to MOTOR to
Pink Floyd: Learning to Fly - for that matter about any Pink Floyd
Sammy Hagar: Eagles Fly
Alan Parsons Project: Sirius - for that matter, about any Alan Parsons
Van Halen: Dreams
Vangelis: Celtic Dream, Alpha
U2: Where the Streets have No Name, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Murray Head: One Night in Bangkok
The Eagles: Get Over It
Autograph: Turn Up the Radio
For a little change of pace, I have a "Hooked on Classics" CD that is fun to listen to while motoring. (Okay, everyone can laugh now!)
Right now Boston "Third Stage" is in the CD player. I especially like The Launch from that CD. Once again, any Boston seems to work for motoring.
I have noticed that most songs seem to sound better in the MINI!

The entire Dirty Vegas CD....and if that is not available because I left it in the office, the entire Jesus Christ Super Star CD....the fun part today is people don't know if you're singing to yourself or on your hands free cell phone...
Duce Coupe Effect, try this combination: Start with Taking care of Business (BTO), <fade into> Too Much Time on My Hands (sorry, it's been a while and can't rem the artist) <pick up the alarms> Time (Pink Floyd) <finish with> Sweet Madame Blue/America (can't rem that artist either, sorry) Set of tunes from my much younger years.....let me know what you think....Mick

I listen to Punk-rock in my Mini. Nothing like "Out Come the Wolves" album by Rancid to get you speeding through Parley's Canyon on the way up to Park City. Of course there's always new stuff like Coheed and Cambria's "Suffering". If you really want to be true to the British roots, blast some Sex Pistols and the Brit gods will smile down upon you.

I have a video of last years Dragon run and thought that would be a good song to throw into it. Here's the video. I compressed it a lot so it would be small in size for a quick download so the video quality is a low.

Well, although I love many of the classic rock tunes named for good motoring music, I find that I like things a little more monotonous and dance/trance-like for my driving. Maybe some old Thrill Kill Kult, Skinny Puppy or for the lighter side, something along the lines of The Propellerheads - "Velvet Pants".
