R50/53 Was I "tagged"
Was I "tagged"
can anyone fill me in on the "tagging" procedure when a MINI is sighted parked somewhere...I came out the other night and found my passenger mirror folded away and passenger side wiper moved to the flipped out position...was I tagged ???
I just wave too, after I print some out I'll prorably leave a motoring citation, I know some local clubs ;eave busniess cards that give some info about how to join the club, never heard of the wiper thing though.
I bet that it was someone who knows you. I have done the windshield wiper thing to a buddies car if I see it parked somewhere. The next time I see them I fess up. (I have only done it to people that I know would take it well).

I have done the windshield wiper thing to tons of people I know, it's funny especially if it's in a crowded parking lot, and you can go and park somewhere else and watch. The best though is if you are someplace with someone that's not so crowded, like a party in your neighborhood that has alot of cars, and they leave their car running with the keys in it. Just slip outside and move it to the opposite side of the block they were on.

I'm notorious for doing that.Mikey

Coulda been buddies, or just coulda been a hater, hope it was the former.
Only time I got 'tagged' was when MCS was new. Was leaving a bar with 4 buddies & made a 'pitstop' on the way out. When I walked out to the car there they were... pants down & buns pressed up to each window. ...And it was only 17 degrees out!
Had to give em prop's... COLD & the MCS had winter road grime on it. Talk about dedication

If it was to be annoying, but no damage done, you lucked out.
If it was bullying, wiper would have been broken off, mirror broken, etc.
Then it would be Parking Rage.Windicks.....&tp.
Eh?
So that's what happened...
I got half way home and realized there was something really wrong with the passenger side mirror and ...what the hell is the wiper doing out there???? I almost got ticketed for pulling over into a bus stop to fix it. If that's what it is, "tagging", I really don't appreciate anyone screwing with my car.
There are more enjoyable ways of saying 'Hi." I have always waved or given a polite thumbs up. I have even gone into a restaraunt that had several MINIs parked in the lot and loudly greeted everyone, MINI owners or not...

Weird...what's this tagging thing, and why would one want to do it?
