its just crappy they change the gas.

Just got back from another road trip. Second tank gave me 27.2 mpg. Not bad mileage & I was scootong along pretty good. Touched 95 mph for just a bit, but mostly 75-80. I'm thinking with some miles on the clock it'll do 30+ with no problem.

then the truckers were saying there were quite a few on 271, but i wasnt out that far...

One of the nice things about a 19% is the extra torque down low. Makes shifting at 2300 perfectly normal, and shifting at 1700 possible when not in a hurry.

Shifted furiously to keep rpm between 1200 and 1700 for an entire tank and got 27MPG city, same as shifting more leisurely at 2300 or 3000 (never more than 3/4 throttle to try and stay out of the enrichment map).

My conclusion was that boost (and the subsequent fuel enrichment even at part throttle) hurts gas mileage as much as RPM, and with a 19% boost can hit 8psi under 2000.

If it is driven as intended, the MCS delivers about 18MPG.

I was on I 71. Seems as though there are always people running faster than me. I hang back 1/4 mile or so & let them run interference for me. If I'm out there alone it's 75 mph tops for me.
