Well I have around 2000 miles on my Cooper S and my brakes squeal when coming to a stop. I just posted a message in a thread I found in the "Beneath the Bonnet" forum, but I was wondering if other 06 owners (or others) are experiencing the same thing?

 

Our 2500 mile 05 MCSa does this as well. not all the time, more often during slow stops.

 

05 S w/ 2000mi, and same here.
dealer said they did something, but didn't change anything... still squeeky sometimes.

 

Some squawk here too. Mostly at slow speed stops, like pulling into the driveway.

 

i've always heard it has something to do with the cold weather. my car does it every winter...
