HI All, I am new around here. I wonder if anyone can give some information on the service done by Mini dealership. I was told to do a oil service at 15000km. However, I did a oil change myself at 10000km and i think is not necessary to do it. I was told for my first oil service, they will replace a micro filter for me. Any one know what is this? Thank you

 

Is service included there as it is in the US? If so, you should have the oil service done, if nothing else, to keep your warrantee intact.

The micro filter is the filter on the a/c system - it filters all the air coming into the cabin.

 

Thx for the reply, in Canada, oil service is $195 + tax and i did oil change at 10k. I feel I should do it at 20k instead. I feel I am getting wipe off. Plus, I am still thinking should i go back to mini to do oil change, they charge me $100 dollar where I can do it for $60 outside. What do u you think?
