Come and see us sometime.... We don't bite..LOL
I saw you meet at N.W. 67th Ave. on Thursdays. Is this still happening? The S. Miami location is on the other side of the world for me. If so, I'm there soon.

Yes, the first Thrusday of every month we meet in Miami Lakes (Palmetto X-way and NW 67 AVE) for folks that live closer to that area and in Broward county. The rest of the month we meet down in West Kendall.

Trading my 525 wagon for my MCS.
Wife is keeping her 525 wagon.
And I'm keeping my '88 911.

Didn't trade it in, but I did test drive both a BMW and an MCS. Went with the MCS.

Seduced... or more appropriately, Mrs. Dread was seduced... by an Audi A3 3.0. But it's amazing what an extra 1,000 (or is that 1/2 ton?) does to handling, stopping, etc. Sure it accelerates a little faster, and it's really pretty inside, and it costs about the same as a loaded JCW... but it's 1,000 pounds (1/2 ton) heavier! Case closed.

PS - If you're looking for another car in your garage, for my money you need 2x the price of a MINI to get anywhere close to 3/4 the fun. Just my $0.02. (Not couning a Lotus because that doesn't carry the little Dreads.)

Strange that I thought this too, as my MCS weighs some 1000lbs more than my previous car, or the old Mini. But then weight is not always everything: it also weighs nearly 2000lbs more than the 770lb 1955-62 BMW Isetta but has vastly higher performance.
