Solid Gold MINI

I have been wondering latey who owns a Solid Gold MINI? I have spoken to quite a few people and they always say they have seen them but I have only seen 1 other gold MINI and it had a black roof. It really makes me feel unique because I have an SG/SG.

i do not mean any offence at all, but sg is probably the ugliest color mini has ever come out with...

that said, i think you really make the sg stand out... personally solid gold on a cooper without aero kit or anything is ugly, sg with an aero kit looks good!

so keep motoring in SG!

There's one solid gold in Santa Cruz (not mine.)

Looked much better in person than I thought it would.

That was one of the reasons for getting the Aero Kit and R90's.

I've seen one SG/SG motoring in Huntington Beach...the only one I've ever seen honestly. You guys do stand out in a crowd!

I wanted SG or even SG/B but the color was dropped by the time I was able to order.

Then they dropped Jet Black, so I ended up with Astro Black

I agree with the ugly comment. Not that my PW is the greatest looking car in the world, but the few SG/B Coopers I have seen are just painful. The wheels and aero do help The other that I have been wanting to see is a Mint Green Mint Green they all have black roofs as well :(

Last fall I used to see a SG/B cabrio here in Tiny Town, CA. I always waved at them (cabrios being pretty unusual at that time) and they always looked at me like I was crazy.

I've seen one or two around Houston and I agree that it's just an ugly ugly color. I had to wonder if there was an optional jewel encrusted "pimp stick" offered with manual SG minis.

I've only seen a few SG MINI's and never a SG/SG!

Hooray for the rare unusual colors even if some people forget that if they can't say anything nice they shouldn't say anything at all.

Deemotored (in AZ) has gold, but I don't know her roof color. It is an AWESOME choice for Arizona because it hides the dust so well. As long as a MINI makes its owner happy, it is beautiful.

Yeah, just cause one person thinks it's hideous and says so doesn't mean it is. Just being cheeky.

I didn't mean to pee in anybody's cornflakes. I was just saying that this one person does not like the color of your car. I am sure there are just as many people like ariercetinberk who think my PW/PW is the ugliest thing on earth.

Oppinions are like bum holes everybody has one and without them we would all fill up with poo real quick.

I have personally met some people that (I think) have bum holes but are STILL full of poo. Nobody on this board...yet...

I LIKE your Solid Gold and have YET to see a MINI I didn't like. I am old enough to remember some of the "unfortunate" colors they put on cars in the '70s.

But the dude in the commercial who wants the lime green hatchback would LOVE this car too!
