Solid Gold, Silk Green, and Velvet Red are three pretty rare MINI colors. I've always liked the gold, and I've only ever seen three of them.

 

I take that any day in my gold...better then not get any thing at all.

I have never ever before sniffed this color! I just don't know what to think! There are none in my zip code. Nope. But I like it. I do. Only in the "gold on gold" combo. But...I'd tastefully add chili red mirrors,,, and a carbon fibre hood scoop and gas door. I guess. Somewhat understated...

Stock wheels. No stripes. New car smell. Full set of teeth.

I have only ever seen one for sale. It hadn't run in a year, had a broken CVT (who would have thought?), 16 inch wheels, chrono pack and cordoba brown leather interior with sport seats. They wanted $500 for it, but I passed because I had just bought my Hyper Blue MINI and didn't have space for another. It didn't look bad in the pictures, but it would have been a bit much for me to sort out since I didn't know the platform yet and would have had to either learn how to fix a CVT or preferably swap it to a manual.

 

When I first started looking for a Mini, this was the first one I found that I liked, was for sale on eBay at the time...and I think the car was in Texas....but it sold by the time I raised the funds

Awesome color and very rare, I only seen a couple in person with SG/SG top. I have seen maybe one R52 in that color.
