I Love my SG too! BUT...I do think it needs black bonnet stripes & grill to set it off. I also added the smoke side turn signals and smoke out reflectors in the picture on the right.

Those black stripes with the white border do a GREAT job tying everything together - the top and side mirrors.
Looks good!

I must say that the gold is pretty cool. You see alot of red and black MINIs but not too many gold ones! Its awesome to have something different!
....unless its one of the mint green MINIS... yuk (J/K)

Does MINI know how many solid golds were produced? I'd like to see the number totals for SG, VR and CB.

yeah, but see, that car that cost 4,000 in 1970 is now worth over 70 grand.
I rest my case.

Boy, that is so true! If I had known how much that car would be worth 35 years later, I would have sold EVERYTHING I had to buy up a fleet of them!
Wouldn't we
all have done that?

The internet, like being out in public, requires thicker skin.
No bubble included to protect ya, sorry.
I'd have to see the car in person to pass judgement - looks like it could go either way for me in pictures.

Ditto.
And Solid Gold is by far, the best color for a MINI.
