Cooper S utilized nicely. (pic)

Hi there,
When I realized this weekend how few people have seen the Jittery Joe's Professional Cycling Team car, I decided I wanted to post a neat image. Basically most professional cycling teams use larger station wagons as team support cars because typically the team director, a mechanic, a VIP and several spare wheels and food and beverages for the team ride along.
But hey, the Jittery Joe Cooper S and Cooper Convertible are by far the coolest ones out there.

Does anyone have any other cool pics of neat application / marketing
Coopers?
Cheers,
Herbert

These are Yakima towers, crossbars and fairing, plus rocky mount bike carriers. I looked at their setup when I decided on mine, but I spread my towers out a bit more.
Cheers,

Not to hijack the thread, but I was wondering about the tower spread too. I saw a Yakima rack at a race and the towers were close together like the Jittery Joe's car. I have Thule rack waiting for my car to arrive and it also shows spacing the towers very close together at the front of the car. The factory roof rack is spread out quite a bit more. What gives?

Well, the factory recommendation would keep both the towers front to back closer, and also the towers edge to edge a bit narrower. But that is really a minimum apart recommendation not a maximum apart one. Side to side it is best for the towers to sit right on the very edge of the roof where it will get the least damage, and front to back it is better to spread it further apart to get not as much of a lever effect with so much bike hanging over the back.

I hope that makes sense. Look at the pic in my gallery and check out my setup. I actually work for Litespeed and often carry quite expensive bikes on my roof.
Cheers,
Herbert

Cool, thanks for the tips, I guess I'll just have to do a bit of experimentation when I get the car. I've got a Merlin Proteus roadbike, are they made in your shop too? I've had in since May, really enjoying it.
