You can keep driving "through a secure area"? What are we, in a war zone or something? Maybe your tire is flat because someone shot it??

And you are right, they don't mention the road noise, bad handling, or even the exorbitant cost.

A war zone.

Or certain areas in Washington D.C. Or about half of Baltimore...

In the movie, they didn't mention about the technology used for the run-flat..
The one used in our MINI is with a solid dougnut in it, that makes it heavy...., but the one they used in the movie is using stiff side wall. May be that new technology can help on all these category.

D.C. has the most restrictive gun control laws in the nation. Therefore, there are no gun related crimes in the D.C. area.

When we outlaw guns, only criminals will have them. Unfortunately the majority of the DC population may fall into that category. The rest aren't in politics.

I didn't know about that.. every time I switch out the S-light??? for the hollies, it makes me think 1 S-lite weight as heavy as 3 hollies.

I was confused by the PAX system, which is the one with dougnut in it.

Hmm they said that the new 3 has no spare due to run flats. I know that this is the case with the MCS but what about a MC with run flats from the factory. Do I get a spare or not?

MC = Spare Tire

Yes you do get spare - due to battery location and larger exhaust, MCS loses the space for a spare tire. MC does not.

i assume you got the 16 inch performance wheel upgrade with runflats like i did?

The S-Lite is a heavy beast. Must have been opposite day when they named them.

I do love run-flats though and am getting ready to buy new tires. I am attracted by teh better perfromance and lower cost of non-runflats, but never having to worry about a blowout is a good feeling.
