Sorry if this has been addressed before...but, now it's soon to be MY TIME!!!!! hehehe  My question is this: If mine is produced in March, does that mean the order would be placed during a particular time in February? AND, if produced in March, could I maybe receive it in March???
Arggggg!!!
Arggggg!!!
It seems they usually have to wait in line for a while to get on the boat. If you are lucky, and it is produced at the very beginning of March and goes straight to the boat and has very little wait time at the VPC, then it is possible to get it in March.
I would not bet on it though, and would expect a mid to late April delivery
Don't worry though, we will be here to comfort you while you go a bit nuts waiting for it to get across the pond
Remember to let me know which transport ship your MINI will be on and I will post a picture of it here for you!

THe order should have been placed in January for a March production. Usually 6-8 weeks ahead of time. If it was, you should be able to track it on MINIUSA. If not, you might not have a March production. I got my car a few days less than 4 weeks after it was built. I live in NJ and my dealer is 30 minutes from the port. I also picked it up within 2 hrs after arriving at the dealer b/c my salesman was great. Anything further or a less cooperative dealership and I would have had to probably wait 6 weeks or more instead of just 4.
After production it will prob take
1-2 weeks to get a ship...
8-10 days at sea (NJ)
5 days to 2 weeks + at VPC
a few days to a week to get to dealer and be prepped.
Most likely 4-6 weeks on East Coast - add 2-3 weeks for further west orr west coast.
Bottom line - No, sorry, but I don't think there is any way you can get it before April - prob mid-April being more realistic.
