Great Customer Service Still Exists
So many negative service visits posted, thought I'd post the other side.
Took the 2004 Cooper in for it's first service. The appointment was for the 10,000 mi. oil change etc. I was nervous as I had already changed the oil/filter at 5000 and was facing a new ECU flash. The dealer is 260 mi. away and I didn't buy the car from them. Could this be trouble?
Nope, it was sweet. I brought up a couple concerns with the service manager in conversation while the car was being serviced. They had booked an hour or so this Saturday for me, yet several cars were staged for service. I brought up the annoying rattle on the seat belt hangers. He replied, no problem, we'll take apart the hangers and add thick grease to the track which shuts 'em up. A few minutes later I asked about the strange window sound I had noticed rolling down the drivers side. He came back a few minutes later explaining they were changing out the window regulator assembly.
I should have listed the additional issues before the appointment. They had two techs working on it at once, on a Saturday, for three hours! They were fun to deal with. This type of service is not expected these days.
Thanks Northwest MINI (Seattle, WA)

My service experiences are consistently straight forward, friendly, helpful, and speedy. The SA and techs really seem to care...very willing to take personal time to talk MINIs and provide useful info. Moritz MINI has been delightful. Two big
s!
Global Imports in Atlanta gets my vote.
They have gone out of their way to make my sevice *ahem* "issues" as pleasant as possible.
Last week they replaced both Xeon headlights, dirver side window motor and the steering wheel airbag cover. They provided me with a Volvo S60 for 4 days. Total charge, NADA
