I should also add that I to want to send my belated condolences along to you, Jeff. Losing a loved one is anything but easy, and having it happen due to a prolonged illness is even more life disrupting to a family member relied upon for help and care. Watching my own mother battle cancer was not easy (I ended up taking my last term off from college to help care for her, but I was ultimately blessed with her recovery. To date, she has had no relapses.

Cheers to you and your efforts to get things organized with those whos orders somehow fell through the cracks.

BTW, my cooper eyes are cool!

Since emails never include NAM screennames (nor do orders) I may have had your identity confused . This is one of the problems with posting your issues you may have with a vendor here on NAM and only using your screename

Meanwhile, I'm out here with my full name, address phone numbers and with my livelyhood and a considerable investment at stake.


The quotes I used were from someone's email and if it was not yours then it should not be directed at you. For that I apologize. In the future if you (not "you personally, but 'you' as in "You" the customer decide to take your greivances on the world wide web, please include some details...like "I'm Joe Customer and Joe Vendor is a fraud because he ripped me off on my order #xyz." At least then, Joe Vendor can figure out who is having the issue and address it intelligently and fairly. And then the court of public opinion ,who are reading this thread and deciding whether to shop at Motor Swag or not can have all the info. Perhaps they'll even call you at home by using the white pages and leave anonymous messages like 'you suck, man' like someone did me today.

If you left me a message today I will return your call over the weekend or on Monday. I worked on a TV show from 9AM until 2AM and did not have the opportunity to return calls today (Friday).


So, to whomever started this thread...you've achieved what you wanted. My reputation is sufficiently stained so that I will undoubtedly lose business. Also remember that that when you Google "motor swag' from now until the internet freezes over--this thread will appear and I may lose even more business.

Nevertheless, I will move forward from here and continue to develop products and services for MINI owners that help fill the gap in the market left by Munich.

Sincere thanks to those sending condolences. Mom loved MINIs, my involvement in the MINI community and my choice to make this a business. She even attended a MINI Meet at Classic MINI's Customer Appreciation Day last summer as I grew up down the street from Classic and visit the area often. Mom's funeral was held around the corner.


That's really about all I have to say in this forum thread about Mom and the issues with my business. It's all starting to sound like dirty laundry and a little trite. From now on I'll do my business via email and telephone,as usual ,until the next inflammatory thread. BTW I don't come here every day to NAM so PMs are the least likely way to get a message to me.

While I am wholly dissapointed with the service I received from Motor Swag, and have tried to communicate via email in the past several months to no avail, I do apologize for expressing my frustration with my particular choice of words.

Yes, try PM-ing or calling. I was one of the frustrated ones and, although it took awhile, Jeff made good on my order and straightened it out. And the products are top notch.

Jeff has been sent a PM, various e-mails and faxes.

He is now looking into this. Its not so easy to call him from the UK as the toll free numbers don't work
