I've experienced this too. Kind of scared me the first couple of times ("What's happening now???"). I just put the windows up a few inches. That seems to solve the problem...

Just get a hot 90lb model. She wont add too much weight (will more balance the car L to R), will look good, and keep the seatbelt from flapping. Best aesthetic mod money can buy!

They don't eat a lot, right? I mean, a few crackers and cheese once or twice a week, bit of water?

Slip-over covers. The 'special edition' model took regular cloth sport seats and added the covers to make them 'leather seats'.

Huh? They are not slipcovers. They are leather seats. There are no seams or places to "slip" them on. Of course, I could be wrong but I definitely see no where to slip them on (or off) unless you cut the stitching.

If you mean they are regular seats with leather, then yes.

They have unique MINI part # you won't see from your dealer without having a VIN (special orders sheet) with limited availability. I was scanning over the sheet and saw the prices and they were a bit high.

As Uruck noted, they are MC40 seats. You won't see them on any options list nor mini parts sheets except for a supplementary, and I dont think they will sell you the either without a VIN.

They are pretty cool

+1

Just wrap it over the passenger seat side bolster.
