Providing all the paperwork goes through, tomorrow I will be the new owner of a 2002 MCs CR/B.

Since im buying this thing used, and not from a mini dealer (another dealer had it as a trade in) how do i know exactly which options the car has from the dealer?

How do i spot upgrades which may have been done? I think its pretty stock, but you never know.

Only things i know is that is has the large sunroof, 17" wheels, heated leather seats and thats about all i could tell.

If you take a bunch of pictures of the inside and out, we'll be able to tell you exactly what options you got, and how much they cost brand new.

In the meantime. Non Xenon lit minis, can they be upgraded to xenon headlamps? How much is the conversion worth?

 

Get the Serial VIN number from the vehicle and call your local MINI dealer or MINUSA. They should be able to give you a print out with all the factory installed options the car originally came with.

Also since you are buying it used from a non-MINI dealer, go to www.carfax.com and get a full history report on the vehicle to make sure the car has no accident history and a clean title. Best $20 an used car buyer will ever spend.
