funny conversation

Last night, 11:30pm, Downtown at a red light, some guy in the street says to me (window open):

- Hey, you got a Type S in there?

ME: What?

- does that thing have a type S in it?, I heard they are crazy fast.

ME: Well, if you are referring to Cooper S, yes, that's what it is.

- No!, they make a special Type S model that's really fast!

ME: It's not a Honda / Acura, it's a Mini Cooper S.

- Really, so it is the Type S?

ME: yes, it's a Mugen Type S with a spoon engine.

At that point the guy just has a very confused look on his face...

Then I took off.

Did he mean this classic Mini with the Honda V-TEC engine transplant, featured in Road and Track Magazine a couple months back?
