This Mini linked below is advertised on CL. The price is way low. I also noticed that the ad title is the eBay style. Since the VIN was included I searched on eBay and the car is there. So I respond to the CL ad and the guy says that the car is in TX, but in the eBay ad it is in PA. So then the CL ad guy sees that I have YIM and gets on it and tells me he is on vacation in Greece and he then starts telling me that he has had a lot of shoppers and asks if I am serious. I play along for a bit and then tell him that the car is on eBay and he starts going on about scammers. So I ask him a few questions about the car based on what I can see in the eBay pictures and he can't answer them. Sheesh!

It has the send me some cash via western union scam written all over. How the guys aren't vacationing in Nigeria?

 

I have a junky honda for sale on CL, and received two "offers" - one from an honest guy (who would call me back in a month), and another from some guy who could not properly write a form letter (his email said, "I am very interested in your offer of (item) ...." and wanted to pay me by Money Order, and have the car shipped! Had my Honda (which is still for sale, BTW) been worth what I was asking, I would have considered replying. However, my Honda is priced more than it should, and I am hoping people on CL ask me for a lower price (I've even bolded OBO, is that not enough?).
