I had a problem with my AM radio not getting any stations. Dealer swapped it in about 20 minutes.

The other item I wanted to ask you fine ladies and gents about is this:

My headlight washers used to activate every 3 pulls of the windshield washers. I'm pretty sure this was whether the headlights were on or not. Now it just happens when the lights are on. (I like this)

Anyone else have this?

I don 't know if these two problems are at all related...but maybe that's not what you're asking.

Glad they fixed your radio. As for the headlight washers, they're SUPPOSED to only work when the lights are on. If indeed they were coming on with the lights off before, then it sounds like they fixed that too.

The MINI comes with an AM radio? I remember AM, people still use that?

I guess I was asking if anyone elses headlight washers worked with the lights off. I'm aware that they're supposed to only work with the lights on.

Don't tempt me, there is PLENTY of room for an 8-track below the toggle switches...

Sorry to go off topic a bit, but how do the headlight washers work?
Do I have those? Were they a special option?
I noted their mention in the manual, but never learned more about it...

 

You only get the headlight washer option if you get the xenon headlights. Something about the legal issues of needing headlight washers and auto-levellers if you have xenon's in the U.S.
