*Note ~ This is a product of a bored mind. My job is quite mindless, so I let it wander, and for the past five weeks, it always wanders to Minis. So this morning I thought up this song, an ode to waiting for your newly ordered Mini, and it's based on The Twelve Days of Christmas.

In the first week of waiting my MA said to me,
"Relax we ordered only this week."

In the second week of waiting my MA said to me,
"It's being built,
but relax we ordered only last week."

In the third week of waiting my MA said to me,
"It's been built,
now it's on a boat,
but relax we still have a few weeks."

In the fourth week of waiting my MA said to me,
"It's still on the boat,
just please be patient,
it'll be here soon,
it's just another couple weeks."

In the fifth week of waiting my MA said to me,
"IT'S FINALLY HERE!
But now we need to go
install the mods
that you specail ordered,
so it's going to be just one more week."

In the sixth week of waiting my MA said to me,
"It's finally done,
COME PICK IT UP!"
Now you can motor
To your heart's content,
and display speeding tickets
like they were prized trophies."

It's been 17 days since order. Last I heard it was awaiting transport, but no ship had been scheduled. I'm heading to Mini of Peabody this Saturday to apraise my trade-in and sign the financing papers, so I'll get a detailed update by then. It better be on a dang boat by then! I really should have my Mini within a month. I hope so too, I've got three weekends planned out meeting other Minis and thier owners starting July 30th!

I tried to packing more verses for those unfortunate souls having to wait months and months, but nothing really orginal came to mind. Glad you liked it though.

 

Happy dance here!! Just found out that GRAPE S is *at* the distribution center!!!

That mean's I'm officially in the 5th week of the song Feels like progress to me!

*does a little dance* Oops, did i do that in public . Hehe, cool song. Hope your baby shows up soon. I think mine actually did take 6 weeks to show up but i had to wait another week after it got in to drive back to CT from MI and pick her up.
