I have a big tupperware of products that I can barely carry... Plus at least 4 types of towel.... and my microfibre towels are pink to match my car! I also have multiple hand mitts for different parts of the car... a Mr. Clean car wash *just for the water filter!* erm... We washed her 5 times in 10 days! and trailered her... lol

but im not as bad as the rest of you!

Yes, because you will learn that gas costs money. I spread it out a little bit everyday and usually have a dedicated sat. or sun. to the MINI. A regular wash is 3 hour minimum exterior but I pride myself in seeing my reflection in the paint

I carry a micro fiber towel to clean off brake dust daily, and a 6 sq ft towel to dry off rain water. I'd love to have matching color towels though

Ocd?

...sorry, got lost in the moment of obsessive things MINI owners do: My windows have to be spotless. Every night I wipe off the windows and get them nice and streak free. It drives me nuts to find that sometimes during the night a cat (or cats) with muddy feet walked across my bonnet and up the windshield...so every morning, the neighbors see me washing the car. HA! They think I have issues.

I have seriously considered camping out next to the car with a hose to get those pesky critters mid-air....My tires have to be black and shiny, no coral dust dulling the side boards, and the inside has to smell like roses. Really, I buy rose scented air freshener...it helps me stay polite to rude drivers who think because Ducky is smaller, they can just cut me off.

In the back I have a neatly organized road side assistance kit and a large first aid bag. (In the Keys, if you get into an accident, there are long stretches of lonely road where the only thing you see is mangroves on either side. {This is where "dippy" goes away and business kicks in.} You'd want somebody like me to find you: First Responder/EMT....'cause it will be a while before the ambulance shows up.) Mick

Wow, it must be nice to live in a place where the biggest detailing challenge is coral dust

In New England, it's more about the salt pasted on everything...or finding the car under the snow...

There was a thread about this a few months ago, shotguns were mentioned , though I can't remember how the issue was finally solved. I wish coral dust was the extent of my worries, roaad salt snow and sand b/w Florida and Chicago ohh what a winter.

Details, details, details...

I went to the dealer to buy two screws to attach the bottom of my license plate because I wanted the four screws to match. I then went back because the front plate only had two screws and I just couldn't handle THAT!!!

I have a large utility sink in the garage with an installed rubber hose/shower head for washing the dogs.

One day this winter I had a revelation. If I park the MINI close to the sink , I can wash and rinse one side of her! Then I can reposition her and wash and rinse the other side!

I do this when my husband isn't home so he doesn't think I'm nuts. Lucky for me we have a drain hole in the garage floor so that the evidence drains away.

How's that for obsessive?
