the other day I noticed while cleaning my car that the plastic trim around the interior of the door had hairline cracks in it. they were mostly around the bends such as the handle area. The cracks are really light and are on the plastic trim portion of the car.

anybody else notice these? is this covered under warranty? thanks for any info guys.

 

If your car is still within the warranty period you are covered.

I had a similar situation w/ my 2002 MCS and the dealer replaced the part w/ no problems or issues

Just had mine replaced under warranty for very negligible cracking in the oval of the door panel (silver interior). The parts man said they have seen several...

 

ahh.. interesting. I thought this would be considered a "wear" issue. Hopefully mine will get replaced as well. I'll update when i get home in 5 weeks and find time to go to the dealer.
