Took delivery of my MCS on 1-10-03. Its BRG/with white top and 17" wheels.
Has the 3 pkg's, HK, PDC, Wipers, Dunlop perf. tires.

Has the new steering wheel, & pedals. Came with the Alloy Patina dash. Also the
door sill plate has the Mini Cooper lettering with a red "S".

When I picked it up the boot wouldn't latch. Service looked at it and got it
to work, but because I live 125 miles from dealership, they took the Mini back
and replaced the latch anyway.

Now have 400 miles on it. This thing is contagous (?). I have been keeping the
rev's below 4,500, no full throttle, and under 80 MPH. But it justs wants to go.
The Mini so far is rattle and trouble free.

The HK is great. Has alot of neat features. I ordered the PDC just to have it, but find it useful backing into the garage. Like added assurance that I won't accidently customize the back end. Also found the sensing wipers to work well so far.

It was worth the wait. I originally ordered it lst July, but the BRG wasn't available until Sept. The wipers and HK wasn't available until 12/02. The order was placed the end of 10/02.

Just wanted to say Hi! to all of you out there. This Forum was a great way to learn about the Mini and shortened the wait.

Congrats on your MINI! The wait was unbearable for me too, but
MCO helped speed it by. I love the BRG/W Cooper, got any pics?

Enjoy!

Congrats on your new MINI! Sounds like you and I ordered almost identical options/packages. I added the PDC at the last minute because my hubby thought it would be cool. I keep hearing good things about the HK system, too. Can't wait to try it out.

Motor on and welcome to MCO!

CONGRATS!

I held off for a lot of the same reasons you mentioned above. I'm glad to hear it is worth it.

Please keep us abreast of your experiences as you break your car (going to name it?) in. Also, one more call for pics (especially the HK) once you get some time. Thanks in advance.

ENJOY!

-Otto

Great review and thanks.
Congrats on your MCS and excitement.
I can't wait.

Anyway, great review of your options. Get some pics up here. Also, thanks for the timespan breakdown. It is good to know HOW MUCH LONGER...
