I wound up putting on a "ONE D" badge...

I removed mine last week, on an 05 both front and rear badges had holes under them . Blacked out the centers, and reinstalled them. Now that there is no identifying logos on the car, more people ask me, 'what kind of car is that?"Gets more conversations started...........

I left my badges all on and people still ask me, "what kind of car is that" or "what's that thing".

Was there a particular reason that started the debadging fad?

It was a long, long time ago... when NAM was known as MCO... had to do with the reason MCO became NAM. Was a bit messy. We did it to support Mark.

Now that you mention it, I kind of remember that. It seemed like a good reason at the time, but NAM has worked out really well.

I planned to replace my CooperS after my boot stripe installation, but liked the clean look without the lettering. It ended up on my dash instead.

Removed every emblem, color matched the door handles, side grilles, and gas door. Those pesky holes under the mini wings... welded up ground smooth and then added a little pizzaz. (check my gallery, or www.lambspeed.com) oh yeah, cut a big hole in my hood to let out the hot air

I did something similar, i took off the Cooper S off the boot, and put the "S" below the passenger side center air vent
