I was out cruising around the other day and caught a great rainbow that appeared to end directly in front of me, right where the road curved. Checked to make sure no one was behind me, stopped in the middle of the road and snapped a shot. Dang wipers...but I still love the shot.
How about you, got any cool photos from out motoring around??
Nice catch. Never actually encountered one end of a rainbow in person yet. Remember as a kid, we would chase it down, but it seemed to go on forever and get further away.
Should of made a mad dash across that field ahead and drove under it. May have had the Midas touch and turned your MINI into a Goldmember
Cheers,
Up near Flagstaff AZ in October, we went to Walnut Creek Canyon, while we were leaving, it started to rain/snow/hail and then suddenly there was a double rainbow.
Only 8 miles from pavement in Wyoming. I got some crazy looks from ranchers in huge ford F-350's who kindly let me pass. I returned to the small town of Medicine Bow (population 273) to grab a bit to eat at the Virginian. A stranger approached,"I heard that you drove THAT," as he gestured through the hotel window at my dusty MINI,"through the ranch!?"
"Yep"
"Well, I've never!" He replies. Then came the all too familiar question, "What is THAT?"
It was truly an adventure that I hope to never repeat! Motor on!
