you have to be very carefull how you display this one..........it's mounted to magnetic material, so it can be taken off and on. Seems to generate an undue amount of aggressive behavior from ricers and muscle cars,

On my old car I had a bumper sticker that said "MORE TREES, LESS BUSH" but I would never put something like that one my MINI. The only stickers that will go on my MINI are MINI related stickers and they will go on the window. Right now I have an "acual size" sticker on the back window and I think thats enough.

Not a fan of bumper stickers on my cars, but love em on other peoples.

The best one I ever saw was:

"Nuke the gay whales for Jesus!"

lol, that one gets me everytime I think about it.

So of my other favorites:
"Don`t tailgate me or I’ll flick a booger on your windshield"
"Ask me about cooking cats for fun and profit."
"So many recipes so little cats "
"Jesus and I were flying through the mountains. We crashed. I ate him."
"Warning: Driver brakes just for the hell of it."
"I was kicked out of boy scouts for eating a brownie!"
"Preserve Nature... Pickle a Squirrel!"

At Mini Meet West there was a car that on the sunroof wind deflector pieces said "MOVE OVER" but it was backwards as to be read in a rear view mirror. I thought this was very funny.

Stickers on windows are usually OK, seeing a bumpersticker on a nice car makes me cry.

If I ever get a bumper snicker I was thinking of:

GROW YOUR OWN DOPE -- PLANT A MAN.

...I have a sheriff's office star, and Red Hat Society window decal on Ducky...but my plate is the best...not what's on it but the reaction I get when the local constabulary run it: my numbers return to the sheriff's office. I thought it would be a great idea because I go on long road trips and the department has all my emergency contact info. I got pulled over while driving Miss Kitty (Pepper White) once and the deputy asked me if it was a department car. I was sorely tempted to say it was and we were just waiting to get the light bar....Mick

I had really fantastic bumperstickers on my Omni -- get her bumper keyed a few times, in fact. And I've deliberately not put anything on Ollie (Save for school decals and my motoring ID) in order to avoid potential vandalism...

But lately I've been thinking that it's a very sad day when I let someone else's ignorance prevent me from expressing irreverent political opinions via my car. It's as if they've already won by silencing my bumper. I do not like this and may have to fix it.

1:1 Scale

Hey YellowBritishRocket, where did you find the 1:1 scale, I've been looking for one of those - I think its more subtle than Actual Size.

A bumper sticker definitely NOT for a MINI, but perhaps for a Ford Pinto:

Answer my prayers, steal this car.

You can get them from MiniSwag www.miniswag.com. They are on the NAM Vendor Directory.

my best bumper stickers

My best bumper stickers:

1) I had a 1959 Morris Mini Minor 850 when I was 16 yrs. old. It was the first year of the Mini and people stared blankly at it. My dad made the following sticker for it: CAREFUL!! I'VE JUST BEEN WEANED!! I remember gleefully how passersby actually jumped back after readying it.

2) Two modern day stickers come to mind and are presently on my Cooper.
A. I drive a MINI. What are YOU compensating for?
B. It's a MINI thing. You WOULDN'T understand.

I still LOVE my little Apple stickers* on my side windows... and I'm rocking a custom Detroit Tuned sticker on the back... thats it for now! I'd love a clever one or something else, but I am WAY too indecisive to pick one!

(*=although they have been custom made now... and are a little bit different... they look more like real apples than the traditional stickers do... but i digress)

I had a darwin fish mating with the other legless fish on my truck. one day it dissappeared. but there was no damage to my truck. I guss the person didn't like seeing fish mating.

but my favorite is "the only peace that works" and the piece sign is made with a B-52

But I am too afraid of the wack jobs keying my car if I put political stickers on it. There are wack jobs on both side of the fence. Me I land in the middle and am leary of both. I think stickers can influence road rage in some people and can imediatly give people an opinion of you before you meet them. Besides that they look trashy.

I've got 2 ideas that are my own:

"My ____ is big, so my car doesn't have to be!"

and

"Free cornering lessons...just follow this car!"

I had a set of those "Kills" decals, They were in AutoWeek m
agazine a few years back. Can't remember what I did with them. I also had the Evil Kneivl Iron on also from AutoWeek magazine

I have an Acual Size and NAM.com decals, An IN decal from D&R MINI in Indianapolis. Would like to get a 1:1 Scale and some day a MINICCI decal.

And then there is the Warning to Female Passengers decal on the passenger visor...

Hmm, for some reason I'm going to my kitchen to get a "Pink Lady" apple (our favorite apple, at least to eat, around here)
