I remember seeing this on a classic Mini awhile back...sorta along the same lines...but the whole roof the Mini had a quote written in really large letters.

"IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOUR VEHICLE IS TOO DAMN BIG!"

I will pick up bumper stickers i find amusing, but never put them on a car, maybe in a rear window though.

Last one i found said "We interupt this marriage to bring you the racing season" and a license plate from that said "Friends don't let friends apex early"

My rational (and polite) mind says don't do it...but I confess to loving the idea of the SUV stickers. Another recently-heard variation on this theme is:

MY SUV IS MAKING A TERRORIST SMILE

But no, I'm afraid that as for putting stickers on my MINI, I'm sort of over the days of wearing my politics on my sleeve (or a defenseless MINI as the case may be).

I actually do not remember where I got the Whirled Peas sticker. Might have been either Ear Extacy or Electric Ladyland here in Louisville, KY.

Another I've always wanted to make up: Money does not = intelligence!

That's because I do a lot of driving in Palm Springs and they have the dumbest drivers around!

I've got a little oval white sticker that has MB on it for Mount Bachelor, the local ski hill. It's like the old GB stickers you see on old British cars, so it goes well with the BRG on my MCS!

I used to have a t-shirt that said "Mini Cooper S. Rules the bends, never bends the rules" with a pic of a classic Mini cornering hard. I'd put that on my MCS in a minute if I could find it in a sticker.

A few I'd like to see:

Driving is Scary - I NEED an SUV

Look at all of these groceries - I NEED an SUV

I totally agree about no stickers on the paint. In my old (SUV - see, I've seen the light) I had all of the stickers of my favorite small bands covering the window that was already obstucted by the spare. Kind of an Ultimate Band List for the little guys. My wife got all kinds of ribbing when she would have to drive out to construction sites.

I think all the window glass on the MINI calls out for at least one small sticker...

I put a small one on the side window to show my support for "GrassRoots Motorsports" magazine. I don't want to put any stickers on the back window or bumper though.

A friend of mine suggested that having some kind of "law school" sticker will get you better treatment from law enforcement and reckless drivers -- has anyone done this?

My Colorado fav is a parody of a sticker with the colorado license plate background that says "NATIVE". It says "SEMI-NATIVE", instead. Also, "THE CLOSER YOU GET, THE MORE I SLOW DOWN AND LAUGH" is good for those tailgater states.

I was toying with the idea of putting on one:
"STOP BUSH"
"BIGGER ISN"T BETTER"

>>Yeah, I periodically do see the "Don't Californicate Colorado" sticker around here (chances of seeing that sticker dramatically improve if you go to Boulder).

In Washington, as a teenager, I had a bumper sticker that said, "Help Keep Washington Beautiful, Go Back to California."

Another one I like is, "It's too bad stupidity doesn't hurt."

If you put clear automotive vinyl under the bumper sticker, it will make it easier to remove. This is a good trick for parking stickers and anything else that you might have to put on your paint. This way, removing the sticker is the same as removing a bonnet stripe.

I made this one for my MCS. The original Mini here in Oz was refered to as The Brick due to it's stocky shape and build. My mascot is The Thing from Fantastic 4.
IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!

On the back window of my brg with white top Mini I have an oval sticker with GB on it and a sticker with 3 lions on it that represents the English national soccer team. Does anyone have the UJ grill badge? Does it just clip on to the front grill?
