I just ordered my Cooper S convertible yesterday . I can't wait until it arrives. I bought it at Motor City Mini in Detroit, and they are strongly encouraging me to buy a 3 year warranty specifically for the run flat tires. Has anyone else bought this? Is it worth the $350?

 

Way too much $'s Go to Goodyear store and I think they will give a road hazard for about $35 atire or go to Discount Tire to my the RH protection.

 

That seems excessive !!!
I wouldn't do it.
A run-flat tire cost around $200, so you would need to have problems with two of them to make it worth it....save your money and use it towards a 15% pulley instead

Warranty for tires . I don't get it.... Unless you drive very little (under 25 to 30k) in three years your not going to have them that long. Average milage on them seem to be around 20k. I was able to get 30 on my goodyears, but that seems to be the high range. Personaly I wouldn't do it.

I'd recommend just getting tires with discount tire, getting the road hazard warranty, and just having an accident once/year and getting new tires before the tread is dead!
