I'm *this* close to placing an order at Mini of the Hamptons this Saturday. Does anyone know how much of a deposit they require, and if I decide I can't swing the finance rates when the car finally comes in and have to wait longer, if they will return my deposit?
Thanks!

$1000 is the standard deposit to order the mini. Beyond that its up to the dealer and based on your credit.

Hey Celia,
Do it. MOTH had a $1,000 refundable deposit last year when I ordered my S.

International Mini only requires a $500 deposit. That was stated before I even did a credit check...

I was gonna pick up a X3 and put a $1000 deposit on it, then I decided to buy a Mini. The dealer won't give me my $1000 noiw.

Here's how I'd build her..
MCSc DS/Black, Anthracite, Black leatherette, Chrome in and out
Premium Pkg
Weather PKg
Convenience Pkg
Fogs
Chrono
H/K
Alarm option

What tires would you all suggest? And should I do the LSdiff and the DSC? I'm sure the three tie in together, but I don't know how they work.

That's the car I've been dreaming about!

We pick up ours from Hassel Mini in Freeport, NY on Tuesday, and they only asked for $500 down, back in February.

MOTH requires $1000.00, usually the other dealers such as Ralph Schomp in Denver, require $500.00, then another $500.00 once it enterers production. So one for the waiting list, the other for the actual car totaling $1000.00. MOTH gives ya the $1000.00 back, so no worries there
