Kudos to Leasecompare.com
Well I picked up my MCS yesterday, after some problem with original lease quote. I was going through MINI Financial and about to walk out the door on Monday to pick up the car. I called the dealer and told my MA that a fax from my Ins. Co. would be arriving and that I was leaving to get the car. MA says, oh BTW the lease will be $7.00 per month more due to an error that was made when figured by manager.
I've been around and leased and purchased cars before, but I thought this low tactic was a thing of the past. Can't believe they tried to pull that bull on me. I said, I will not be picking up car, because I am not paying anymore than agreed upon. I immediately went online and contacted leasecompare.com. They quoted me a price $24.00 cheaper per month, than original price with MINI Financial. In addition, the lease is 39 months not MINI Financial's 42. Same money out of pocket. Fantastic dealing with Jennifer at Leasecompare.com. Approved and all paperwork overnighted with no hassle whatsoever. Money was wired to dealer yesterday and I picked up my HB/B mcs.
Can't say enough about how knowledgeable, Friendly, Professional and accomodating Jennifer was. Fantastic Experience. Anyone thinking of leasing should contact them
Edit: Please read next post

Oh, I would like to add the following: Although I was psssd at the time, this post is not to say anything bad about my MA or Dealer. Notice I have not mentioned them, although some may probably know who they are. I would like to give the dealer and MA the benefit of doubt and think that maybe there was truly an error when figuring lease. In addition, my MA was very helpful and I did drive her crazy, u know, changing my mind on options so many times.
In the end everyone is happy and the car is fantastic and I will be going back to the dealer for service etc.

I received e-mail of approval within a few hours and I was then faxed a copy of the lease agreement, which I signed and faxed back. The originals were overnighted to me. I received the next day via UPS, signed them and sent back in the same envelope which came with prepaid postage. UPS picked up the envelope and Lease Compare received it back over night. The money was wired to dealer that day and I was able to get the car. A temporary tag was also overnighted to dealer and ready when I picked up the car. Really a smooth transaction. I know many do not think a lease on the MINI is the way to go, but leasing works for me and leasecompare made it easy and saved me $24.00 per month. I'm happy, I guess thats what counts.
