No rattling for me. Just over 2k miles of motoring most of the time with the HK all the way up. I'm impressed how well it sounds (of course it doesn't compare to aftermarket setups but for a dealer setup it's nice! )

I like the HK system, but I also heard the rattle on the passenger door speaker grill. Press the grill and the rattle goes away.

Brought it to the dealer and after some velvet tape, no more rattle. It's been almost 1 month so I hope it lasts.

Same Issue...

I've got an 05 MCS with the HK system. That thing rocks, I'm suprised they base notes that thing can push don't take the whole car apart. I noticed it in the passenger side door @ about 2K miles. Just got it back from the dealer yesterday @ 7.2K miles after having the felt tape fix. It's still not 100% buzz free, however it sounds much better. Most if not all of the door panel buzz is gone. Now I've got buzzing from the door tray and the arm rest area. Any ideas?

I love my H-K because it drowns out all the other little annoying squeaks and rattles and whatnot eminating form other interior areas. So far tho no rattles related directly to the H-K so go for it! Jimbo

Still love my H/K after 8,500 miles! Great sound, specially with the attached 4GB Apple Nano iPod.

No buzzing or rattles from the speaker so far. But then again, I haven't been listening to gangsta rap lately. Getting old I guess

My left front started rattling at 10,000 miles. I lived with it, put off fixing it for a while and it went away on its own! Self-healing MINI.

I get minor rattling when I'm cranking Bass heavy music, nothing to annoying. BUT! I WILL WARN YOU! DO NOT THROW ANY CHANGE IN THE SIDE DOOR POCKETS! My father threw soem toll change in there on thanksgiving and two dimes fell into the door and would rattle like the dickens constantly! I had to take my door panel to get them out! GRRR!

But for reals, despite all the smack talk about the HK, it really is an amazing factory stereo with amazing sound definition. It is a TAD too quite, but for most people its not a big deal, the insane digital sound quality makes up for it!
