R50/53 Starting MINI Club of Pittsburgh
Does anyone have any advice on how to start a local MINI Club? The local dealer is not bending over backwards to help but has at least handed out some flyers for us. I guess I am most interested in finding out how to reach local MINI owners. Since we have not started yet and have no dues, any advertising is coming out of my pocket, so taking out ads in the local paper is out. Is word of mouth the best? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
First, welcome to MCO.

"Mind the Gap", love the name, truly Brittish.
As far as getting people together the flyer idea is good but even better is putting info here or Mini2 or another web page. Lots of owners here on MCO and a great way to get together.

I will be moving into the Pittsburgh Area in Late June. I'll be sure to make as many Mini Meets as possible. Keep us posted and be sure to check out the Mid Atlantic Mini Group page (on yahoo).
