Its funny that you mention this website - I had just placed an order for some German custom plates for my '81 Mercedes 300D through Alex at this website. This is my 2nd purchase from him, great guy!

I've got a British tag (from another vendor) on the front of my MCS, with a German MINI dealership license plate frame (also from grtpl8s.com). I couldn't find a British MINI dealership frame, so a German one was my next best alternative.

Check out his website at: http://www.grtpl8s.com/ The tags come from Germany and are of excellent quality.

My user name would have been my first choice if it wasn't so long.

But since I also have a cabrio my other choice was SUNTANR.
Then there was DRAGON, DRGNSLR, FASTR52, HIYAQT, CYAL8R and then some others that wouldn't make any sense to anyone else.

As you may or may not know I went with MOTD129 because it is my absolute favorite place on earth for my MINI (MINI's On The Dragon - Highway 129).

Actually I applied for MRSBEAN and it is available, but my husband said he wouldn't want to drive it if it had "mrs" in the license plate LOL!!! go figure!!! BEAN isn't available. A lady in the same town I live in has that one. Perhaps MR BEAN? But I don't look like a MR LOL

I like SPOT ON too. Do any of you ever notice that, no matter how far away you park mini in a parking lot, someone ALWAYS parks beside you? The other day, I was at walmart and I decided to park allllllllll the way away and I even took up two spots! Picture it, this cute little mini taking up two spots in this hugggggggge parking lot, and yep... you guessed it, a HUGE, dirty pickup truck parked right beside me!!! I had it in my mind to wait for the person to come out and ask them why they had to invade mini's privacy (lol) but I decided to be the better human being and just leave, AFTER I INSPECTED MINI for damage of course

That is so funny, I've been having the same problem lately... It doesn't seem to matter that I have parked twenty miles
from the Mall, when I come out the biggest POS on earth always seems to be parked right on top of me even though there isn't another car in sight.

I almost always have a camera with me and I'm going to start posting pictures of this phenomenon...

Maybe they are so enamored with our MINI's that it draws them closer.

I'm going to start photographing too! We'll post our photos on a new thread. Who can think of a good name for the thread? We need to come up with something good
