Ok as much as I know about my mini I still don't know what the vent above the rear seat is. Is it a defroster vent, or something to do with the auto air conditioner? What is that thing. I can never feel any air coming from it but havn't tried all the settings so maby it is. LOL. A friend thought it was a camera that Mini put in the car to keep an eye on it's customers. LOL

 

MINI says that is for the interior motion detector,if you bother getting the alarm system.I say it's one more thing to have to clean dog hair out of

HAHAHAHAHA No telling what's in there. But what is it really for? Motion sensor? on my last car the motion sensor for the alarm was located in the engine compartment and was a little box about an inch and a half by 1 inch long and had to led's and a **** to adjust it. O well. I guess we will never know. LOL
