R50/53 Car goes into gear won't move, manual transmission
watching the video a couple times fullscreen it looks like it might be weeping where the piston meets the transmission, also just verified my brake res is well below max which i believe is an issue as the clutch hydraulic line feeds farther up the res than the brakes.
Tried to bleed it using the 2 person method and it didn't make a difference, really think i'm looking at dropping the transmission again, well good news it's all fresh in my mind.
I noticed that. but I can't tell if it's just camera angle.
it does look like they both move the same amount
I hate to say this, but I had this same / similar issue (on a different car however). it was the clutch kit. the geometry was off. it only takes millimeters
hoping someone has a better thought

the clutch is back out?
if so you can take some measurements. compare the geometry from the old clutch to the new. the depth of the flywheel. the position of the tines (i cant spell). I think you see where i'm going here
replacing the wear parts here is a good practice

Just though about it now, I had a similar experience with a new clutch kit. It fitted and looked the same but once installed I couldn't shift while the engine was running. It turned out to be the new clutch kit.
I found my old post here. Maybe it's of some kind of help.

Hate when i make stupid mistakes... Almost positive i figured out my issue. When i went to take off the pressure plate bolts they were just a tad more snug than finger tight. My brother didnt torque them on when he was hanging the pressure plate and clutch onto the flywheel. I need to get some blue locktite tomorrow but i feel thats why the clutch couldnt disengage. Going to also torque them but would probably find out the torque spec.
Update:
Pleased to announce after dropping the transmission and torquing the pressure plate bolts down and replacing and power bleeding the slave the car is now driving. Time to finish gutting the interior and getting it ready for a roll cage to be welded in.

will be a custom welded cage built for 24 Hours of Lemons, likely will purchase a pre bent and notched kit from a place called Roll Cage Components.
