(created by CP+B) "Best Marketing Campaign of the Year" Interestingly enough BMWfilms won last year.

Sorry… there was no url that I could find at this time. The article might eventually show up at Adage.com. You also might be able to find the mag in better bookstores.

They went on to say that "the agency's biggest problem right now is to prevent the car from being too fashionable and risk being passing fad."

Very interesting. Thanks for that tidbit Gabe! I'm more convinced now that The cutbacks in dealer allotments are an effort to keep the demand and interest high.

My girlfriend is in advertising and she's been pretty impressed with the MINI marketing campaign from the beginning. She says that the whole shortage of MINI's is all part of the marketing campaign too.

A couple of my friends who are computer graphic designers/programmers are very impressed with the miniusa.com website, too. Too bad it stagnated about six months ago...

I work as a graphic designer in advertising (and also freelance) and I have always been thoroughly impressed with their marketing campaign.....their designs are very clean and simple which I love. GOOD JOB MINI!

Same here - I don't think I've seen a bad piece of design come out of th MINI marketing machine. As a print/web designer it's easy to fall in love with a car when the whole customer experience around it is so compelling.
